Chapter 31 — Recovery as Discipline, Not Collapse
Recovery is training. Sleep is training. Nutrition is training. Walking is training. Breath is training. If you only recognize barbells and opponents as training, you will be confused when life demands recovery discipline.
Collapse pretends to be recovery: scrolling for hours, substances that erase feeling temporarily, skipping all movement until you feel perfect. Discipline looks smaller: early bed, protein and vegetables without a sermon, gentle mobility, sunlight, honest social contact, gradual return.
